CT-pathologic correlation in small peripheral lung cancers

摘要: To evaluate the morphology of small peripheral lung cancers, we studied thin-section CT images 18 cancers (14 adenocarcinomas, two squamous-cell carcinomas, one large-cell carcinoma, and carcinoid) in 17 patients. After surgical resection, specimens were sliced transversely, gross histology correlated with appearance lesion on preoperative images. showed fine speculations 78%, a notch 83%, pleural retraction convergence vessels 83% cancers. Furthermore, cases papillary adenocarcinoma, lesions had heterogeneous densities (78%) cavitations (67%). fluffy zone most well- or moderately differentiated adenocarcinomas.
