摘要: Like all other chemical reactions, polymer syntheses may be subdivided into two categories, namely kineticallycontrolled (KC) polymerizations and thermodynamically controlled (TC) polymerizations. KC are characterized by irreversible reaction steps, equilibration reactions absent the products stable or not. TC involve rapid above formation of cyclics “back-biting” a reactive chain end (see Formula 5.1), represent thermodynamic optimum at any stage polymerization process.
