摘要: Abstract Introduction 3′-deoxy-3′-18F-fluorothymidine ([ 18 F] FLT) PET has been proven to be of value in diagnosis and assessment glioma grading, differentiating tumor recurrence from necrosis, response predicting overall survival (OS) the primary high grade glioma. In this study, we evaluated [ FLT PET-CT OS patients with recurrent malignant Methods Fifty-six were enrolled prospective study. The contrast-enhanced MRI scans performed all patients. Tumor volume was determined both image (proliferative volume, PV) (Vol-MRI). Patients followed up clinically until death. likelihood using PET-derived parameters SUV max , tumor-to-normal (T/N) ratio, PV predict assessed comparison Vol-MRI other clinical parameters. Result follow periods for ranged 1.5 35.6 months median 9.8 months. Univariate analysis showed that following significantly correlated OS: ( p =0.042), Karnofsky performance score (KPS) =0.041), T/N ratio =0.001) independent predictors. thresholds 16.88 cm 3 10.94 ratio. Kaplan–Meier analyses these a significant discrimination between short long groups Conclusion on are predictors seems more predictive than T1-weighted OS.
