Superconductivity in the La1.85Ce0.15Cu1−xAgxO4−δ system

摘要: Abstract We report AC electrical resistance R(T) and DC magnetization measurements on N 2 -annealed La 1.85 Ce 0.15 Cu 1− x Ag O 4−δ samples with 0≤ ≤0.6. R ( T ) reveal that the undoped CuO is an insulator. However, as substituted for Cu, a superconducting transition starts to occur at ∼ 24 K ≥ 0.2. The normal state )/ (280 K) varies systematically , ratio (24 K)/ reaches minimum =0.4. Although signals 0.1, volume fractions obtained are quite small χ −1 curve reveals valence of ions in this system close 3+. H c2 data =0.4 sample also obtained.
