摘要: We review recent inelastic light scattering studies of elementary excitations the one-dimensional (1D) electron gas in quantum limit, when only one or two 1D subbands are occupied by electrons. The method gives precise determinations energies and wavevector dispersions excitations. find that intrasubband plasmon displays linear dispersion characteristic free behavior. Quantitative agreement is found with calculations based on Random Phase Approximation (RPA). In contrast, collective intersubband appear as dispersionless have very close to singleparticle At large wavevectors we observe anticrossing behavior mode.
