摘要: The presented paper concerns current knowledge of commercial and alternative photoinitiator systems used in dentistry. It discusses photoinitiators focuses on mechanisms polymerization process, vitro measurement methods factors influencing the degree conversion hardness dental resins. PubMed, Academia.edu, Google Scholar, Elsevier, ResearchGate Mendeley, analysis from 1985 to 2020 were searched electronically with appropriate keywords. Over 60 articles chosen based relevance this review. Dental light-cured composites are most common filling dentistry, but every system requires proper light-curing suitable spectrum light. Alternation might cause changing values biomechanical properties such as: conversion, hardness, biocompatibility. This review contains comparison including different photosensitizers among other: camphorquinone, phenanthrenequinone, benzophenone 1-phenyl-1,2 propanedione, trimethylbenzoyl-diphenylphosphine oxide, benzoyl peroxide. major aim article was point out which would compensate disadvantages camphorquinone yellow staining or poor biocompatibility also have mechanical as satisfactory camphorquinone. Research showed there is not an adequate can be sufficient (CQ), like: germanium novel acylphosphine oxide synergistically CQ able improve aesthetic resin.
