摘要: The interface between filler and hydration products can have a significant effect on the mechanical properties of cement paste system. With different adhesion products, microstructural features (size, shape, surface roughness), particle distribution area fraction fracture behavior blended system is supposed to be different, as well. In order understand features, with either strong or weak filler-matrix interface, microscale simulations lattice model are carried out. results show that strength plays more important role than in crack propagation paste. knowledge acquired here provides clue, direction, for improving performance existing fillers. To improve fillers terms strength, priority should given bond particles matrix, not modifying (i.e., shape roughness) filler.
