摘要: Two distinct types of hydrogenase occur in Anabaena 7120 and are distinguishable whole filaments by the application selective assay methods. A reversible occurs both heterocysts vegetative cells can be selectively assayed measuring H2 evolution from reduced methyl viologen. Activities aerobically grown were low but could increased 2 to 3 orders magnitude growing microaerobically. The presence was independent N2-fixing properties organism, activity did not respond added culture. Illumination necessary during derepression hydrogenase, addition 3-(39,49-dichlorophenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea amount enzyme that synthesized. An uptake occurred only filaments, a small also present microaerobically with 20% H2. It an oxyhydrogen reaction at atmospheric levels O2. Additional elicited including or removing O2 sparging gas
