摘要: Cloud federation has been proposed as a new paradigm that allows providers to avoid the limitation of owning only restricted amount resources, which forces them reject customers when they have not enough local resources fulfill their customers' requirements. Federation provider dynamically outsource other in response demand variations. It also underused rent part providers. Both things could make get more profit used adequately. This requires clear understanding potential each decision, order choose most convenient depending on environment conditions. In this paper, we present complete characterization providers' Cloud, including decision equations providers, free (i.e. insourcing), or shutdown unused nodes save power, and characterize these decisions function several parameters. Then, demonstrate evaluation section how can enhance its by using exploit federation, different parameters influence is best situation.
