Validating constraint driven design techniques in spatial augmented reality

摘要: We describe new techniques to allow constraint driven design using spatial augmented reality (SAR), projectors animate a physical prop. The goal is bring the designer into visual working space, interacting directly with dynamic design, allowing for intuitive interactions, while gaining access affordance through use of objects. address current industrial process, expressing our intended area improvement SAR. To corroborate hypothesis, we have created prototype system, which called SARventor. Within this paper, theory applied, interaction devised help illustrate ideas and goals, finally combination all input output tasks provided by SARventor. To validate techniques, an evaluation system was conducted. results indicated promises solution within Design experts see potential in leveraging SAR assist collaborative process during sessions, offering high fidelity, transparent application, presenting enhanced insight critical decisions projects stakeholders. Through rich availability SAR, designers stakeholders opportunity first-hand effects proposed considering both ergonomic safety requirements.
