摘要: A simple growth model for unicellular algae is used to show that environmentally induced changes in cellular composition can be explained terms of controlled adjustments acting maximize the specific rate. The based on a division carbon into four distinct compartments: associated with photosynthetic apparatus, those components engaged macromolecular synthesis, structural and stored carbon.
