摘要: The potential for research to influence policy, and researchers policy actors, is significant. purpose of this qualitative study was explore the experiences health services engaging in (or not able engage in) policy-relevant research. Semistructured telephone interviews were completed with 23 experienced researchers.The results paint a complex dynamic picture environment relationship between government officials academic researchers. Elements complexity included diverse understandings nature how relates policy; dealing multiple stakeholders policy-making process; identifying strategies manage different cultures academia.
