摘要: Piping leakage can occur at T-joint, elbows, valves, or nozzles in nuclear power plants and nonnuclear such as petrochemical when subjected to extreme loads of piping systems also lead fire explosion. For example, sodium, toxic gases, nitrogen hospitals cause man-made hazards. The primary objective this research is understand the vibration effects due classical/nonclassical damping with building-piping under loads. current evaluation employed finite-element analysis calculate responses classically nonclassically damped systems. Classical nonclassical matrices for a coupled primary-secondary system were developed based on Rayleigh equation. A total 10 selected ground motions applied single degree freedom (SDOF) primary-SDOF secondary (2-DOF coupled) which ratios natural frequencies between ranged 0.9 1.1. It revealed that effect was significant where two nearly tuned. piping-material nonlinearity, result forces not significantly different from those classical damping.
