摘要: In this paper, we study the fluid-structure interaction in a weakened basilar artery. The aim is to how wall shear stress changes space and time because of weakening, spatial temporal are thought be possible causes aneurysm vascular deseases. arterial wall, its natural configuration, modeled as hyperelastic cylinder, inhomogeneous along axis, order simulate axis-symmetric weakening. fluid studied exploiting recent approach for quasi-one-dimensional flows slowly varying ducts, which allows write averaged equations mass energy balance on basis velocity profile straight duct. unknowns pressure, average velocity, radial displacement. problem solved two parts: first, stationary non-linear coupled solved, an intermediate configuration obtained. Then, variation basic about considering dependence over cardiac cycles. results suggest that, with 10% reduction main elastic modulus, zone sign doubles maximum value detected healthy zone.
