摘要: Study of the effect protein chemical acylation on their functional properties or activity often brings valuable information regarding structure-function relationships. We performed such work wheat lipid transfer protein, LTP1, to investigate role grafted acyl chains binding and properties. LTP1 was acylated by using anhydride derivatives various chain lengths from C2 C6. Only modifications with hexanoic acid yielded a marked tertiary structure slight change in secondary structure. The affinity modified proteins for myristoyl-lysophosphatidylcholine similar that native accompanied decrease stoichiometry. Interestingly, enhanced at least factor 10 length. Finally, grafting investigated means molecular modelling, an attempt is made correlate our experimental data.
