摘要: To reach out to women from different backgrounds, the battered women's movement needs place and their informal supports at center of a coordinated response. This article shares views domestic violence survivors, staff, supporters on how create such inclusive response, lays conceptual foundation for decision-making forum called safety conferencing, sets forth guidance its practice. Safety conferencing is proposed as one means building individual collective strength reshape connections, make sound choices, promote children diverse cultures.
