In experiment 1, 3-month-old (n = 6/group) were either treated with or left without 4.7 mg deslorelin implants. Semen collection evaluation performed just before castration at 48 weeks after treatment; removed testes analyzed for mRNA protein FSHR. We able collect semen from six non-treated cats, whereas uncollectable. The results revealed that behavior absent implanted cats throughout period. Testicular volume found decrease 30 treatment onward compared controls (P < 0.05). production only non-implanted cats. tissue score, seminiferous tubule diameter, lower 0.05), but no differences observed groups. higher 0.05) control 2, 6) male collected No two groups, epididymal weight, diameter tubules, grade conclusion, implants suppressed enhanced along suppression function any adverse effects least
