Graphane with defect or transition-metal impurity

摘要: Graphane has a large band gap around 3.5 eV. In the situation of vacant hydrogen atom, defect states appear in energy gap, according to density functional calculation, and local magnetic moment 1 Bohr magneton is generated. Furthermore, if vacancy occupied by an atom from transition-metals, not only do impurity levels make their presence out region but larger can also occur as result. The calculation shows that doped structures are robust choice dopant change electrical conduction magnetism greatly.
