摘要: Lower extremity mononeuropathies are not as prevalent those of the upper extremities. However, they may cause a diagnostic challenge since commonly confused with lumbosacral radiculopathies or, less often, plexopathies. This is particularly true in elderly patients where radiculopathies, due to lumbar spine disease, common, and incorrect diagnoses lead unnecessary surgery. These nerve lesions also debilitating often interfere standing walking results falls. chapter discusses details applied anatomy lower peripheral nerves clinical electrodiagnostic aspects mononeuropathies.
