摘要: Abstract Statement of problem. Treatment tooth loss in the anterior maxilla can involve difficult functional, esthetic, and psychologic problems, especially young patients with otherwise good dentition. Purpose. The purpose this study was to provide a preliminary comparative evaluation two implants (ITI Astra) single-tooth restorations. Material methods. This prospective 102 replacements 56 ITI 46 Astra dental performed 82 at Finnish Student Health Service Foundation. One implant lost before loading. overall survival rate 97.8% for 100% system. After initial healing period least 6 months, remaining 101 (56 ITI, 45 were free periimplant infection revealed no detectable mobility. Radiographs did not reveal signs radiolucencies. All received crowns. Results. Periimplant parameters acceptable function examined demonstrated satisfactory results preestablished clinical radiographs 1 year. During observation time mean marginal bone 0.13 mm 0.11 implants. Subjectively all satisfied their restorations supported by either or Conclusion. favorable short-term support application systems restorations, region maxilla. (J Prosthet Dent 1997;77:382-7.)
