摘要: Abstract Desilication is one of the most important pretreatment processes that prevent membrane fouling. In addition, it also increases flux during filtration alkaline/surfactant/polymer produced water. We developed a novel external-loop gas-lift reactor to enhance efficiency. modified reactor, CO2 was pressurized through porous titanium sintered pipe (mean pore size: 1 μm) form uniform bubbles. The fine bubbles reacted with highly soluble silicate in water polysilicic acid sediments. A two-phase gas-liquid flow maintained high mixing. Furthermore, liquid-falling tube used liquid circulation velocity as separated phases. blister type draft introduced riser increase gas residence time. well-known Euler model computational fluid dynamics and population balance (PBM) were simulate optimize reactor. Compared original R-1, R-3 had improved holdup by 369.8% 25.4%, respectively. decreased silica content from 452.3 96.7 mg·L−1 ASP water; removal efficiency 6.3% greater than conventional air-lift should be industrial treatment plants, because shows better compatibility treating large amount oil wastewater.
