摘要: Sleep disordered breathing, also known as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), is a highly prevalent disease occurring with variety of life threatening comorbidities. For years, polysomnography has been considered the gold standard in diagnosis, consequently resulting high costs and difficulty for head neck surgeons to participate practice medicine. The development multichannel home testing by manufacturers offers cost-effective reliable method screening diagnosing OSA. To complete surgery medicine practice, should provide consultations comprehensive diagnostic services out their offices utilizing testing.
