摘要: Samples from the posterior vaginal fornix of 102 women with various clinical conditions were analysed by a quantitative method. Aerobes isolated all but one specimens at mean concentration 7.2 log10 cfu/g and anaerobes 92 8.1 cfu/g. In most in control group asymptomatic women, outnumbered aerobes about ten to (one unit). The common organisms aerobic anaerobic lactobacilli, coryneforms, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Bacteroides spp. gram-positive cocci. Lactobacilli did not appear confer any protective effect excluding presence other such as Gardnerella vaginalis or anaerobes. isolation vagina cannot be regarded being pathogenic significance without supporting evidence.
