摘要: IL-10 is associated with a Th2 response, down-regulation of Th1 response and macrophage activation. We assessed the role during systemic infection Aspergillus fumigatus. Systemic aspergillosis was established in female C56Bl/6 IL-10−/– (KO) wild-type (WT) C57Bl/6 mice by i.v. administration 1 × 105−6 × 105 conidia A. In two experiments, KO survived longer than did WT (P < 0·001). Determination fungal burdens kidneys brain showed that KO carried significantly lower both organs on day 3 Semiquantitative histological analyses fewer inflammatory foci/mm2 (P < 0·03 < 0·001, respectively) that extent tissue injury were greater WT. Although beneficial some bacterial infections, exogenous has been shown deleterious models infection. Our data indicate infection, increasing host susceptibility to lethal speculate this might be related or lesser responses, compared KO.
