摘要: A necessary mediator of cardiac myocyte enlargement is protein synthesis, which controlled, in part, by the highly energy-consuming process peptide-chain elongation. Recently, AMP-activated kinase (AMPK), a key regulator cellular energy homeostasis, has been shown to phosphorylate number enzymes involved control synthesis. Since AMPK may inhibit synthesis via different pathways, it possible that also hypertrophy. Recent advances linking and status cell regulation (or) hypertrophy will be discussed.
