摘要: Valvular strands are known to be a potential source of cardioembolism but the natural history native valvular has not yet been fully outlined. We report case ischemic stroke in patient with strand aortic valve and patient's clinical course. A previously healthy 21-year-old man suffered acute cerebral infarction right posterior artery territory. On echocardiography, there was strand-like, oscillating mass on left coronary cusp valve. The received 100 mg aspirin daily found subsequent transthoracic echocardiography performed 10 days after first examination. Serial echocardiographic examinations have since failed find any abnormality. did suffer recurrent over 3-year follow-up period.
