摘要: A system has been developed to communicate with the On Board Diagnostics of a car using Controller Area Network communication protocol. The requests stored trouble codes that might have detected by diagnostics and sends them together Vehicle Identification Number remote server. The information is stored in database on server can be accessed through web interface. web interface allows user find his car together the detected faults. also contains about trouble codes, such as their symptoms how fix them. The was development platform Syntronic AB called Midrange and the final prototype consists Midrange, GPRS module remote server, an LCD display runtime information. protocols drivers were using low-level software libraries provided STM32 microcontroller mounted board. Monitoring communications while testing showed works as intended cars from different manufacturers deliver data reliably database. compared commercial scan tool and testing they both produced same results.
