摘要: Conclusion. Video-oculography demonstrates a higher occurrence of atypical positional nystagmus in patients with benign paroxysmal vertigo (BPPV). This includes anterior and horizontal canal variants multiple nystagmus, suggesting combined lesions affecting several canals. Objective. To analyse the video-oculographic findings tests BPPV. Material methods. Seventy individuals symptoms BPPV were included this study. The diagnosis was based on history brief episodes presence as confirmed by examination during Dix–Hallpike test, McClure test or head-hanging manoeuvre. Patients treated means different particle repositioning manoeuvres according to affected (Epley's manoeuvre for posterior canals Lempert's lateral canal) effectiveness evaluated at 7 30 days.
