摘要: Data collection for computed tomography (CT), using a fan beam of radiation, is considered in detail. The manner which the required projection data set built up as scanning proceeds demonstrated. It shown that by offsetting detector from its symmetrical position fraction element spacing, and making measurements over 360 degrees, spatial resolution may be increased to factor two. Results simulations relating an actual CT device under construction are presented.
