摘要: Abstract. New particle formation (NPF) and subsequent growth occur frequently in various atmospheric environments. Significant influence of transport on aerosol size distributions is commonly observed, especially for non-regional NPF events. With certain assumptions approximations, a population balance method proposed to examine the of transport on temporal evolution during events. The derived from general dynamic equation the continuous form. Meteorological information (e.g., wind speed, wind direction, water vapor mixing ratio) was used complement analysis. The changes the contribution transport have a good correlation with wind speed direction. This indicates that local mountain and valley breezes govern new particles at Tibet site. In relatively clean environment, the can be characterize transport to range ∼10 ∼50  nm. During intense polluted environment, however, the estimated sensitive uncertainties in condensational scavenging dominance of their corresponding terms population equation.
