摘要: Previous analysis of the firing individual rat hippocampal place cells has shown that their rate increases when they enter a field and phase relative to ongoing theta oscillation (7-12 Hz) varies systematically as traverses field, phenomenon termed precession. To study contribution phased-coded rate-coded information, we reconstructed animal's position on linear track using spikes recorded simultaneously from 38 neurons.
