Structure and magnetic properties of ErFe11-xGaxTi

摘要: ErFe11-xGaxTi compounds with ThMn12-type structure were synthesized for x = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The crystalline and Ga occupancy in the analysed terms of Rietveld method. With increasing content, lattice constant unit-cell volume increase monotonically. Ti atoms are found to occupy 8i sites all compounds. Bond length factor given. Curie temperature increases first, going through a maximum then decreases while saturation magnetization Spin re-orientation from uniaxial easy-cone type is detected as 300 5 K. A tentative spin phase diagram constructed ErFe11-xGaxTi. In compounds, magneto-history effect observed which can be attributed irreversible movement narrow domain walls that easily pinned.
