摘要: Temporal characteristics of advertisement calls water frogs 10 localities in Turkey, Syria, Israel and Egypt were compared with those Rana ridibunda Kazakhstan, Armenia Greece (Thrace) as reference populations. These study sites include the type R. ridibunda, r. caralitana, esculenta var. bedriagae und levantina. The temperature-dependent well temperature-independent call parameters clearly revealed two species. is represented by three populations and, addition, a population central Turkey. other (in Egypt) represent bedriagae. oldest available name for these regions was given priority over caralitana
