摘要: Virulent Staphylococcus aureus strains typically produce and secrete large quantities of many extracellular proteins involved in pathogenesis. Such cause the classical staphylococcal lesion—local tissue destruction aggressive inflammation accompanied by massive influx polymorphonuclear leukocytes, leading to formation pus. Most causing toxic shock syndrome, however, very small most exoproteins although they elaborate high levels syndrome toxin-1 (TSST-1). These local infections that are remarkably apurulent potentially fatal owing superantigen. We have analyzed this disparity found TSST-1 itself is a negative global regulator exoprotein gene transcription. not only represses genes but determines its own expression level autorepression. report also second superantigen, enterotoxin B, has similar regulatory properties.
