摘要: Vertical atlantoaxial dislocation is a type of instability with upper cervical spinal cord compression. The transoral ondontoid resection posterior fixation the gold standard for ventral decompression. Results are satisfying though surgery can be challenging due to its invasiveness. endoscopic transcervical anterior release could provide sufficient decompression less collateral damage. In illustrative case, anatomic reduction was achieved significant improvement in neurological function and radiographic parameters. Endoscopic appears viable interesting alternative treatment vertical properly selected individuals, implementation significantly reduce post-surgical complications.
