摘要: The electron emission from ferroelectric ceramics has been observed without prepoling. grid electrodes and the solid electrode are coated on top bottom of a thin lead-zirconate-titanate (PZT) ceramic plate, respectively. ratio interelectrode width to thickness determines potential distribution inside ceramic. With an appropriate ratio, polarization can be reversed between electrodes. prepoled PZT was not essential for emission, because shape waveform current after prepoling is nearly same as that obtained However, peak value depends large extent polarities spontaneous applied electric field. In addition, surface condition such microcracking crucial reversal emission.
