CLINICAL STUDIES ON THE LONG-ACTING THYROID STIMULATOR.

摘要: Using Noguchi's modification of McKenzie's method for the bio-assay thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), an attempt was made to measure TSH in serum 130 persons with thyroid disease and 11 normal subjects. A long-acting stimulator (LATS) found 54 95 patients hyperthyroidism. particularly high incidence LATS (17 25) hyperthyroid prior therapy. The level from hyperthyroidism showed a tendency decrease after treatment by antithyroid medication or thyroidectomy. effect thyroidectomy on investigated 35 patients, but no significant change at 24 hr operation.
