Int. 5(2): 00–00 (2009)ABSTRACT The benefits non chemical tools like screen floor and powdered sugar (2 3g/frame) was evaluated against Varroa destructor in Apis mellifera L. colonies. Their effect wasalso determined on colony build up stores hive. determinedby dividing the test colonies into two groups: traditional wooden bottom board floor. The dusting at doses examined by to threegroups: @ 2 g/frame, 3 g/frame without dusted (control). The three week study compared total mite drop, efficacy (%), population growth honeybees, brood production, honey pollen area treated untreated All treatmentssignificantly increased fall as control. Use provided 90.8%reduction over hives which better terms overother methods. Screen floors did not have significant strength A.mellifera during 21 days. Powdered (3g/frame) gave 97.7 80.5% reduction inV. whereas 87.2 81.7 atlower dose (2g/frame).KEY WORDS : mellifera, dusting, floor, destructor————————————————————————
