摘要: “Reverse genetics” or de novo synthesis of nonsegmented negative-sense RNA viruses (Mononegavirales) from cloned cDNA has become a reliable technique to study this group medically important viruses. Since the first generation virus entirely in 1994, reverse genetics systems have been established for members most genera Rhabdo-, Paramyxo-, and Filoviridae families. These are based on intracellular transcription viral full-length RNAs simultaneous expression proteins required form typical ribonucleoprotein complex (RNP). powerful tools all aspects life cycle as well roles virus-host interplay pathogenicity. In addition, recombinant can be designed specific properties that make them attractive biotechnological live vaccines.
