摘要: Today’s new designs have increased in complexity and need to address more stringent societal, environmental, financial operational requirements. Hence, a paradigm shift is underway that challenges the way complex systems are being designed. Advances computing power, computational analysis, numerical methods also significantly transformed impacted design conducted. This paper presents an overview of enablers as they pertain Conceptual, Preliminary Detailed phases. It discusses benefits advances methods, well importance visualization knowledge management design. Finally, it addresses some barriers transfer between research community industry.
