摘要: The concept of inflammatory back pain (IBP) evolved in the 1970s, coincident with discovery HLA-B27 association ankylosing spondylitis (AS), leading to development criteria determine presence IBP. IBP and it relationship AS axial spondyloarthritis (AxSpA) has further evolved, an instrument developed (the Spondylitis Association America Back Pain Tool), which was modified field tested for use 2009 2010 National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). This shown frequency chronic have risen 19.4%, nearly one third having prevalence AxSpA been defined at 1.0% 1.4% 0.52% 0.55%. national United States is 6.1%, intriguing data from NHANES suggest a decreasing increasing age. From this arise new questions work agenda ahead.
