摘要: The decorative bronze handle of a tumi excavated at the Inca city Machu Picchu, Peru, contains 18 percent bismuth and appears to be first known example use with tin make bronze. alloy is not embrittled by because bismuth-rich constituent does penetrate grain boundaries matrix phase. facilitates duplex casting process which was made forms an unusual color.
