摘要: Euler vectors provide a unified framework to quantify the relative or absolute motions of tectonic plates through various geodetic and geophysical observations. With advent space geodesy, parameters several relatively small have been determined velocities derived from geodesy However, available data are usually insufficient in number quality estimate both vector components pole reliably. Since defined globally an Earth-centered Cartesian frame, estimation with limited geographic coverage local/regional networks results highly correlated components. In case estimating directly, situation is even worse, position nearly collinear magnitude rotation rate. this study, new method, which consists analytical derivation covariance matrix ideal network configuration, introduced regularized method specifically tailored for presented. The show that proposed outperforms least squares terms mean squared error.
