摘要: Abstract The most important sources of error in turbidity measurements are discussed and their quantitative effect is studied by suitable experiments. Particular attention paid to the scattered straylight, “corona” at exit scattering cell, solid angle light reaching photocell. Relatively simple precautions described means which two former effects can be eliminated, a relatively procedure proposed allows one obtain values pertinent zero angle. It shown that errors as large 30 % may result if instruments perfectly for ordinary absorption used without proper modifications precautions.
