摘要: Surfactant adsorption onto porous media is a significant problem during surfactant flooding in enhanced oil recovery (EOR). As the solution flows through formation, concentration decreases due to rock surface before reaches target residual saturation zones, rendering process uneconomical. This paper validates an innovative technological reduce reservoir by using delivery system based on complexations with β-cyclodextrin, which releases at areas within formation. This study evaluates performance of this carrier recovering sandpack displacement tests conducted simulated conditions. The experimental results demonstrate that use consistently renders higher incremental recoveries (up 73 %) when compared obtained conventional flooding. Therefore, novel highly effective reducing formations, facilitates propagation and release zones. technology has great potential for EOR chemical applications.
