摘要: Sperm are produced in astronomical numbers compared with eggs, and there is good evidence that sperm competition the force behind evolution of many tiny sperm. However, production inevitably has costs. Recent research shows male ejaculate expenditure dynamic both time space, males sensitive to risks can vary size accordingly. We focus on studies showing assess mating status relative fecundity females, reveal modulation investment by sometimes result limitation for females.
