摘要: Leptin is a peptide hormone with the tertiary structure of cytokine, which not only regulates body weight by inhibiting food intake, but also modulates inflammatory and immune responses. The aim study was to investigate if there are connections between leptin concentrations parameters nutritional status disease activity in group rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. consisted 37 mean serum concentration significantly higher women than men. correlated positively BMI RA. were patients erosive Assessing long-standing RA (duration > 10 years), we found that levels those DAS28 ≤ 5,1; positive correlation value DAS28, ESR number tender joints. results suggest some important dependence exists risk aggressive course increased levels.
