摘要: The recent development of gigabit networking technology, combined with the proliferation low-cost, high-performance microprocessors, has given rise to metacomputing environments. These environments can combine many thousands hosts, from hundreds administrative domains, connected by transnational and world-wide networks. Managing resources in such a system is complex task, but necessary efficiently economically execute user programs. In this paper, we describe resource management portions Legion system, including basic model its implementation. mechanisms are flexible both their support for system-level also adaptability user-level scheduling policies. We show implementing simple policy demonstrating how it be adapted more algorithms.
