摘要: When predicting the fate and consequences of recurring deleterious mutations in self-fertilising populations most models developed make assumption that have discrete non-overlapping generations. This makes them biologically irrelevant when considering perennial species with overlapping generations where mating occurs independently age group. The few studying effect life-histories on genetic properties presence self-fertilisation done so age-dependent selection. They find low levels inbreeding depression do not explain empirical observations. Here we propose a simple deterministic model continuous time selection at different fitness traits feedback between population size. We life-history can result high spite inbreeding, due to higher frequencies heterozygous individuals adult stage. also there may be demographic advantages for are independent reproductive success.
