摘要: This paper presents the amplitude modulated coding behaviour in a biophysically-realistic neural network model of cochlear nucleus. It focuses specifically on microcircuit T stellate cells, with three inhibitory interneurons. cells provide robust spectral representation auditory information, and enhanced temporal information (especially pitch complex environments [1]). The contains interneurons, each controlling rate response cells. Despite saturation their characteristic frequency, ability to code is not disabled. optimal modulation still provided across network, most lateral sidebands around carrier frequency.
